As I previously mentioned, Richard, the new teacher goes to church and would like me to join him. I told him that wasn’t how I rolled and he replied by telling me that it wasn’t important that I didn’t go to church, it was important that I believed. No thank you. He’s still a nice guy though and he always tries to speak to me which he doesn’t have to.
In other news, I have a fangirl. She’s a new student and although I don’t teach her myself, she always says hello and tells me I’m handsome before running away. I’ve never actually spoken more than a few words to her because she’s too shy and she’s not in my classes, but I’m hoping we’ll get a chance to talk a little more next week because she seems sweet.
On Friday night after work, all the teachers went out to a local bar to celebrate the arrival of Richard. While we were there, a group of three guys came and sat on the table next to ours. One of them spoke to The Boss about me and asked if he could show us some magic. Well, he had some pretty awesome card tricks going on and he even gave me one of the cards from his deck after the trick.
