[CD] HON – Map the Soul

Check it! I got my 魂 – Map the Soul CDs today and I thought you’d like to see it in at least some of it’s awesome glory. There’s also a short video in here too where you can see a little more of the book package itself.

I tried not to take to many pictures because I know the international orders have still not been completely ironed out yet and I don’t want to spoil what is going to be a very special experience for everyone. Opening the ‘MapTheSoul’ shipping box, then opening the CD box and seeing it inside was like opening Russian dolls. I have talked about quality packaging before when discussing Big Bang products, but this is far and beyond anything I’ve ever bought previously.

The package arrived at my work and so I couldn’t immediately open it up and start playing with the book. However, I did spend an entire free period reading the book from front to back. It was a really interesting read. Everything that’s written in the book comes in both Korean and English which truly makes this an international release. There are notes and stories from each of the members, along with some pictures regarding the process of creating and releasing the album.

I thought a video might give people a better idea of what the package was like. I apologise for my “enormous hands” but that’s just the way God made me. If you want anything else, then let me know and please check out my review of the album in a previous post.
