Chatting With Cute Girls at Home Plus

SNV31226.JPGA cute checkout girl spoke to me at Home Plus this morning. She’s always got a really big smile when I see her and although she’s always wearing her uniform, I think she’s quite pretty. Not sure about her age, but I would guess at about the same age as me, perhaps a little older. Anyway, after she asked me if I wanted a bag she said that she sees me every week. I didn’t catch the whole sentence, but she repeated, “매주” which means every week and I smiled at her. Then she asked me where I came from. Again, I didn’t catch the whole sentence but I did catch, “나라” which means country and so I told her I was from England. She seemed to find that a little surprising for some reason. I guess most of the people around are from America or Canada. Just as I was about to sign for my shopping, she asked me how long I’d been in Korea. Once more, I caught on a word or two and told her I’d been here since last year.

She gave me my receipt and told me she’d see me again. Now, I think I mentioned in a previous post that I am in e-mail contact with a someone who works there after I left my wallet there last year. I sent her an e-mail and asked her if she knew the girl I spoke to today. Hopefully I can speak to her again because although I always get nervous and embarrassed, I do like talking to people here and especially when they’re as pleasing on the eye on as she was today.

In other news, 진선 sent me a message this morning saying that she needed to rest and could we rearrange our meeting for another day. I was only going to be going in to 서울 for a couple of hours to see her anyway so it’s no big deal, but I did want to give her the merchandise from the Epik High concert. Hopefully she can rest up this week and we’ll have time next weekend to see each other. *plays PES and listens to music*
