Idols in my English Books

DSC00756While perusing some new books that came in, I came across chapters on BIGBANG, The Wonder Girls, and SE7EN. We’ve all seen the news about idols turning up in exam scripts, but I thought this would be an interesting read for you fans. BIGBANG leader, G-Dragon even gets his own chapter because he’s so full of awesome.

Short videos under the cut.

I apologise if you can’t actually make any of the text out. It certainly looked clear enough on the scree while I was recording but YouTube has probably shaved off some of the sharpness an already blurry video. Even my beautiful Haptic can’t deliver on text that small.

원더걸스 & 빅뱅

This is from the intermediate book. I show The Wonder Girls first because I’m a gentlemen. It’s fantastic, but not entirely surprising that G-Dragon gets his own chapter on style.

SE7EN

I found this one after checking through the advanced book on the off chance there would be more idol mentionings. I used to like SE7EN a lot, but have lost track since his move to the US.

That’s cool! Could you please take a pic of Se7en’s article? I want to read it, thank you :D

P.S. I found your blog some time ago (via Thesis theme I think) and surprised that you blogged about Se7en and joined soompi too :)

That book is interesting (: I’d learn English again! I noticed some Grey’s Anatomy on the next page too :D

And they teach the word “fashionista”… >.<

Thanks for sharing!

lol i’d love to get my hands on one of these books, if only for keepsake purposes, just to show the world i have an english textbook with BIG BANG on it, okay???

And GD is a fashionista. LOL even the authors give credit to him for that

hahahh
i think i saw the word ‘awesome’ as a vocab word on the WG page.
that’s really cool. it would be interesting to read on a test than those boring historical articles.. :\ i’ve never seen those kinds of articles on tests in the ny.

Hi there titin :)

It’s a newspaper and the rest of the articles are pretty boring xD
