Taeyang Releases 'Wedding Dress' Music Video!

This week has been about waiting – for G-Dragon’s ‘A Boy’ music video and now for Taeyang’s ‘Wedding Dress’ music video. Is it better than WHERE U AT? Decide for yourself under the cut!


All credit goes to @gdluvzmc for this link. I clicked on it right away because Wedding Dress is easily one of my favorite songs. Not bad.

The word ‘cockblocked‘ is being thrown around Twitter and it’s not a bad way to sum up the vibe. As always, Taeyang’s choreography is pretty much flawless and I think it’s going to translate into very strong live performances.

Is it better than ‘WHERE U AT’?

    Both concepts are really different. I like both. But if I had to chose to say which song is stronger I would say where u at. I had higher hopes for wedding dress. But nonetheless its still a good song(:

    I like it but I like Where U At more, maybe it's just me but I had enough angst for a while from the BB boys and liked hearing something that just make me go aww, I think both songs are kind of relate-able (that's probably not a word) but Where U at is hopeful. The MV is typical TaeYang, sharp, slick and sexy.

    I LOVED this. Really, no one does R&B like Taeyang, IMO. I want to say, although I loved "Where U At" this song really takes it to a whole new level.

    I have to say his acting surprised me the most - i knew the singing and dancing would be killer - but I like brooding Taeyang~

    Hi Alex! Longtime reader/lurker from California.

    It's difficult not to love YG acts --- they just always come up with really good songs/MV's/performances. Then again, it all comes down to personal preferences which is weird because I mostly listen to indies.

    On that note, I thoroughly enjoyed this song and the MV. :D

    Been lurking around but never commented on stuff, so here I am! XD

    I liked this MV a lot compared to Where U At, the lyrics+video+song combined is just total goodness...=D

    The choreography for this dance was great too, seeing Tae Yang dance a little ballet to the wedding march was cute...XD (Despite the sadness of the song.)

    Guess he got a kiss scene again to celebrate his comeback? Though my heart shattered to pieces. =P

    Loved the ending it was a good conclusion to the song... The dropping of the ring had a really good feel to it... From this MV it's hard to believe Tae Yang didn't do any acting in a drama or been in a relationship before, because his expressions are just so raw and real.

    I liked both Where U At and Wedding Dress though the two songs are awesome~

    Haha. Can't believe my bf saw the vid before me. He called me to let me know about the mv release.

    The vibe for this mv is totally opposite of Where U At. Aww, YoungBae. It's okay, i'm sure thousands and perhaps millions of fangirls will risk anything to be with you. and might i also add, i absolutely dislike seeing gorgeous, handsome men with an amazing jawline get rebounded :D

  • Definitely better than Where U At (I honestly did not like that song very much). But Wedding Dress is so sweet and sad and it will make an amazing performance. The video is very touching and caused me to tear up a bit. Another fantastic job by Taeyang and YG.
    ...and the dancing was just perfect. (:
