진선 just showed this to me and there was no way I wasn’t going to post it :D [Do be prepared for it to take a while to load for those outside Asia] She had told me that there had been a performance of it at their festival but this is my first time seeing it. It takes place at 홍익대 and apparently the girls made their own costumes and mic stands. I only wish I could have been there to see it in person ^^ I haven’t really been downloading any of the ‘Nobody’ performances which I suddenly feel quite guilty about so maybe I should go and get some of those .tp files floating around.

Oh, and here’s a little something for the ladies. Anyone who says Korean students are all work and no play needs to watch this ;)

Wahey! ‘Gossip Boy’ is my favourite song on the album and I was so hoping that she would release an MV and start performing. I never really liked the fact that she was on the piano while performing ‘텔레파시’. The MV is outrageously cute as always and I can’t wait to download a high quality version of her comeback on KBS Music Bank :D

The MV is pretty standard fair with cute clips of her playing with her friends in the snow and her band looks great. As always, I love her style and now I can’t wait for Winter to arrive properly so I can wear thick jackets and buy some heavy boots :D

JJ Lin is coming back with his new album, ‘Sixology’ and as I am with all his releases, I’m crazy excited and can’t wait to get my hands on it. I was just going to post the preview video but I couldn’t resist this picture of him at a press meeting because he’s such a dork’tard XD

Oh, and he likes Metal Gear Solid too :D My love for him and his music increases a-billion-fold!

Finally. Ever since seeing the music video, I’ve been interested in seeing how this would play out live and I’m quite impressed. They’ll have a lot of competition obviously and I don’t know if they’re going to do well enough to get a second single, but I hope something happens for them because it’s a unique dynamic they have. That said, it’s also a risky play to have completely separate ballad singers and rappers/dancers within the same group.

It reminds me a little of 2AM and 2PM but then again, 2AM lost out a little and had to prove that they could sing mainstream pop too with that new song of theirs ^^”

This is the MV teaser for 손호영’s new album, ‘Returns’ and title song, ‘I Know’. It’s by far the best song on the album and my favourite so I was happy to see him start performing this on KBS Music Bank and SBS Inkigayo.

This post is mostly for 서영, my girlfriend because she confessed her love for 손호영 yesterday and I thought this might give her some energy for the next week ^^ It does mean I move down another position on her every growing list of ‘Favourite People’ though XD

I challenge anyone to say I am not a kick-ass teacher after I tell you that the CD and poster is what I gave one of my favourite middle school students for his birthday today :D He bought me a 빅뱅 for my birthday and I thought it only right that I return the favour. I wanted to buy him the new 소녀시대 album but they’re too busy being ditsy on Factory Girl. He was really pleased with it and all the other boys in the class were jealous when he opened the poster. It was my first time seeing it and all I’ll say is that I might buy the CD just for the poster XD

Also, if you like 80s music, or even if you don’t, watch this and laugh.

I sit with a nice big grin on my face as I look at my iTunes and see nine separate versions of the musical awesome that is ‘Art of Life’ by X JAPAN. I finally tagged them all in a way that I could tell them apart and I’ve listened to all of them at least once :D

For anyone who doesn’t know about this, I would recommend you watch these videos. As you’ll notice by the above images, the song is quite lengthy and is really made up of four parts which come together to make a really brilliant piece of music. X JAPAN was where it all started for me with Asian music so I owe them a lot ^^ *goes to buy ‘Art Of Life’ DVD*

My middle school students are taking exams right now so a lot of my classes are quite empty. Sometimes this is good and sometimes it’s a bit difficult because if it’s only the ones that usually sit quietly and don’t talk, then I have to do all the work. That was almost the case in my last two classes today but thankfully they were behaved and worked hard for me ^^

The first class had one chatty girl and one boy that always says, “hello” but doesn’t say much else unless poked. We did the lesson and they talked to me a little but I had to drive the conversation mostly. The boy had asked to listen to ‘Number 1′ by 빅뱅 yesterday and today he asked me where he could download it. I said I’d e-mail it to him and I did when I got back from work. I even wrote the e-mail entirely in 한국어 :D

I thought I was onto a winner when the bell went because I hadn’t seen any students from my final class around. I was getting ready to go home when 태진 came and said there was a student waiting in his class. I went in there and it was the new kid. I say ‘new’ but he’s been here two or three weeks now. So it was to be just the two of us *bursts into song* for the 45 minutes…I needn’t have been worried because although he was quiet, he was as polite, kind and generally pleasant as I could possibly have wished for. In class he’s quiet in comparison to the other students but he was forced to deal with me one-on-one which I felt bad about, but he dealt with it well. We laughed, asked questions about each other and did some studying too. He rocked my socks by saying, “I hope we can talk more later. You are a good teacher.” as he left *weeps* My students are adorable XD

On a side note, I am so going to go into Spris tomorrow morning and buy some shoes. I wanted to go in today but bottled it Dx
