Talk, Play, Love…Rice
March 16th, 2008
Huzzah! Success with the rice cooking. I just followed some instructions online and it turned out great. The rice cooker is my new friend and I will play with it often.
I don’t know what the sauce was but there were bits of meat and potato in there and it was pretty good. As you can see, I also made too much ^^” Also, I didn’t have a sieve to wash the rice properly so once I’ve bought them I should be able to have ever fluffier rice. I think I can safely say that rice will be playing a large part in my diet from now on.
In other news, I got to Tesco this morning and it was crazy busy so I decided not to bother going in. I can grab the stuff tomorrow before work anyway and it’ll be much quieter. Seeing as I’d walked up that way I decided to walk on a bit further but there wasn’t anything exciting after about 10 minutes walking so I just turned round and headed home. On the way back though I passed a phone shop with a big AnyBand poster in the window and just as I was about to turn and leave, Talk, Play, Love came on. I love this place XD
Did the rest of my washing and chilled out for the afternoon before dinner and my aforementioned triumph. Lots of music listening and anime was watched because MSN was surprisingly quiet and only a few people came on. Ended up watching the first episode of Clannad and thought it was alright. Then I started watching Minami-ke after a recommendation from a friend and then picked up another series, Bamboo Blade that should keep me going for a week or so while I eat my dinner. I really need to catch up on the massive backlog of dramas >>
My Big Bang DVD and posters should arrive next week :D Wonder Girls, Sonyushidae, Super Junior, Big Bang and FT Island should be adorning my otherwise plain walls! I also got a free Super Junior poster with each other one so I’m going to give the extras out at school. I know there are one or two ELFs in there ;)
