Waah, yesterday was so much fun :D I was so nervous about meeting 서영 but I really shouldn’t have been because she is so incredibly sweet and it was such a pleasure. I don’t know how she managed to kill any awkwardness right away but it might have been the fact that we were clinging to each other trying to keep each other dry under my small umbrella while navigating our way through crowded streets.

We got to Migliore and there was a queue outside waiting to get some envelopes from the staff. 서영 wanted to have a look so we lined up and they were vouchers for 5000 won each ^^ We went to sit down and get a drink first and the plan was that this would let us talk and ease any awkwardness early on but as there was none, we just chatted and it was really nice. We were so comfortable around each other that she threw melon ice at me XD

We hit the shops after that and just spent hours checking out all the stalls. My loot for the day included a couple of t-shirts, some shorts, some light tops and a new bag. I had to take several trips to the ATM because I didn’t have much cash and I’m used to paying with my card because I suck at getting cash from wallet to cashier D; It was great fun shopping with 서영 because she is a mighty haggler and probably saved me about 20000 won all told :D

After Migliore we headed to another department store for a quick look but didn’t buy anything. We went in and saw a sign for free ice cream and raced up to the top to find it. We couldn’t see any when we got there and then realised that it was past 6pm and we couldn’t get anymore. We walked back down and then looked for a place to eat. After walking around for a while, 서영 spotted a nice little restaurant called Savory, so we went in and up to the second floor which was empty when we arrived. I had chicken katsu while 서영 had chicken teriyaki. Both were really nice and we took our time eating and talking. 서영’s sister phoned a few times and even caught a glimpse of me on video call XD

서영 told me when we were arranging the meet that she wanted to walk along 청계천 and thankfully the rain from earlier was gone [and replaced by about 70% humidity x_X] so we walked a long way along in one direction, through a market and then back along to the station. It was a really nice walk and we stopped for a little rest and listened to a guy play the saxophone and just talked :)

We decided that it was about time to head home because both of us had about an hour on a bus before we would get home. 서영 knew what bus she needed to take but we could only find the bus stop for it going in the wrong direction. We waited for about 20 minutes before I called her a taxi and gave her money to get home. She was totally against it but I was worried about her getting on a bus and not being sure, she looked tired and also, I had to get back to the station to get my bus home. I felt much better once I knew she was safe and could relax in the taxi so I got on the train and headed back to 서울역.

Quickly checked she was alright before I headed to bed and now here I am :) A small note that my hair was being lame yesterday. The hairdresser straightened it totally the wrong way and she it was flopping about all over the place. I felt that needed to get recorded. Also, I can navigate the Seoul Metro without any bother now :P
