Went shopping with 진선 in 명동 today. I spent a lot of money but I got some good stuff so I’m not too bothered. I bought:

- two black shirts
- a white long sleeved t-shirt
- black and white muffler
- strange scarf/hoodie/neck warmer thingy
- two long necked hoodies
- a black blazer
- a Converse backpack

Food-wise, we had 안동찜닭 for lunch and we finall had our hot chocolate with cream from Krispy Kreme :D We’ve been trying to have it for ages but we either can’t get to one when we meet or we’re too busy to get together. This was my first time and I have to say, the ‘Original Glazed’ doughnuts are divine.

Only a few pictures of my shopping trip with 진선 today because we were too busy shopping and being lazy :P I bought some new skinny jeans and t-shirts because I had ruined a couple the day before. It was the same way as it always is with me waiting until the last minute before really buying anything ^^”

And here is the fandom section of my post. I went into CLRIDE.n which just happens to be modeled by SHINee and I thought some of you might be interested in seeing them. 진선 asked about a 태민 poster for my lovely girlfriend but alas, there were none. I hope she’ll be at least a little pleased with the brochure ^^

Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures and no, I don’t have access to a scanner right now. If I find a way to get better pictures to you I will :P

Met up at the usual place with 진선 today and we headed to 명동 to check out the Samhwa Paper Exhibition. It was only a small place but it had some really neat paper and we looked through the books and catalogues by companies that have used this specialist paper. I thought we were going to a much larger exhibition but this turned out to be quite a pleasant start to the day.

               

We spent a long time looking around the shops and then the Lotte Department Store befor e buying anything. After walking around 명동 for three hours we headed to Pizza Hut for lunch. We had to wait a bit but it was totally worth it because the pizza was gorgeous. And for dessert…we had waffles :D 진선 likes to take pictures and so my phone was stolen and she started taking shots of me at the table. I’m not to fond of any of them but my excuse is that I wasn’t expecting most of them. She’s a sneaky photographer D:

               

I tried not to look as much of a dork in the pictures but it didn’t happen XD We realised we hadn’t been to 용산 for her new keyboard and for me to check the price of the PS3, so we hopped on the train and went to the iPark Mall which is easily one of y favouritest places in 서울 ^^ . As we passed the camera place where I got my Nikon the guy called us over and gave us both some cold coffee drinks. He totally thinks we’re dating. Anyway, we walked around some more and then went to Smoothie King for some juice. And because we’re really cool and awesome we decided to take some more pictures of ourselves :P

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
This is a public service announcement telling that if you are a 빅뱅 fan then you should probably prepare to have your mind blown away at some point tomorrow. I have in my possession something so incredibly fando-gasmic that you might just want to update your life insurance. You have been warned.

Met with Ashley and her two friends; 소연 and 지혜 at 서울역 this morning. I was surprised the first time when I found out how old she was but this time was worse. God help the males of this world when she hits 18.

We had a quick look around and then decided to get a coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts because Ashley hadn’t had any breakfast. After that we had a look around some more shoes shops and I found the jackpot :D Yes, these glow in the dark…

               

               

On the way out we passed the ‘DUNK’ Nike Museum mentioned in last trip to 명동 and I told them they had to come and see it. This time I totally got some photos and they came out really well considering the low light and the fact that I was using my Haptic. This should blow your mind:

               

The next bit really requires it’s own little bit because it’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen o_O On the stage is a large scale white model trainer and in front of the stage is a touch screen station. You use the touch screen station to drag the colours you want onto the area of the shoe and the model on stage has colours laid over it to show you in real time what it would look like. 소연 had a go and printed it out.

          

We walked around a little more and then had some lunch but other than them heading into some cosmetic shops we didn’t really do much shopping. I can’t help but think I was responsible for the day being a bit of a damp sponge [is that what I meant to say?] because I didn’t really talk as much as I should of and there were too many silences. I told her I was really sorry and she said she was sorry for the same thing so I think we’re alright ^^” Next time I’ll be my usual dorkish self XD

I’m just back from my day out in Seoul, and more specifically, Myeong Dong. I met 진선 at the station and she had a gift for me :D I only had to unwrap one corner to know what it was…Pieces, Part One by Epik High ! I was totally shocked because we had been talking about going to buy it together and then she handed me a poster tube with the album poster inside o_O Here’s a picture of the poster on my wall.

Well after that we headed to the bus stop to get to Myeong Dong and do some clothes shopping. I told her about my poor shopping skills and she said she’d force me to make some decisions so we went into the Lotte department store and headed for the men’s department. We look around and I saw Litmus feat. FT Island and NII feat. 빅뱅. I ended up grabbing a load of t-shirts and a pair of shorts after a good look around and I was feeling pretty good. Then it was time to head to the streets…

     

Once again I apologise for the relative lack of photos but from an early stage I was carrying bags and was just lazy >> We had a look around the shops and I grabbed some sandals from ABC-Mart because it was hot and my K-Swiss were not helping. By about 1pm we were getting hungry so 진선 took me to a little restaurant/cafe for some lunch. We had 비빔밥 which was very tasty and perfect for the hot weather. After we finished we walked around a bit more and then went into Smoothie King to get a drink. And yes, I should have taken the picture before we had finished ^^”

     

I had banana and 진선 had pineapple smoothies by the way. We walked around a little more and then headed to Yongsan, before parting ways. It was a stunningly good day in terms of weather and company and I can’t wait to do it again :D

Oh, and the above picture was taken with my new Nikon D50 which I picked up at Yongsan with the help of 진선 translating and a very forgiving ATM.
