TripleS501 performed on MBC Music Core yesterday.

The One is so-so. U R Man is good and I hope they perform the song as a full unit when they’re all back together. I wasn’t that great a fan of the stage either to be honest but it could have looked a little empty because of the two missing members. I’ve also got nothing left to say about the performance >_< Here's the music video teaser which looks a little boring to me but I’ll reserve full judgement until I see the full thing. I don’t know if I’ll purchase the CD because there’s only really one song on there that I like but it depends on the price I suppose the the poster :P

Elisha showed me her signed copy of 데자뷰 during the last class today and it’s safe to say I was totally jealous. She said next time she goes she’ll let me know and if I can’t go, she’ll take my single to be signed :D

Also in that class was a new student, going by the name of Tom Cruise. Elisha was telling me how much she hated him [in good fun] because he had compared her to a comedian and after they had jostled back and forth I told them they were like a married couple XD They totally denied it and then it came out that he fancied another student who I know. I blee’d all over the place and Elisha filled me in XD *is a 16 year old girl*

I definitely like this new kid though. There’s a certain something about him that I can’t place and if nothing else, he and Elisha wind each other up :D

I met with Leah at 11am, inside Seoul Metro. We hopped on the train to Sadang and then transferred to the Green Line and headed for Jamsil. We arrived to find the place absolutely mobbed by teenage schoolgirls who ran off the train like the concert had already started. We followed the crowds and decided to try to get in and sit down. We went up to some guy and he asked us if we were part of a fan club. We said no but he let us in anyway because we were lame and foreign.

            

We were seated in the Sonyushidae section because they had an unobstructed view of the stage and we weren’t even going to attempt to sit on the top tier with Cassiopeia or E.L.F. We were quickly surrounded by lots of 14 year old boys XD

            

Some of the guys around us kept getting up and moving around and as a result, they lost their seats which they weren’t best pleased about. I think they probably deserved it though because they were being losers and making a lot of noise and mess. By this time the place was filling up and there were seas of red and blue appearing.

            

A couple of hours before the start, the Mnet camera crew came around to interview some of the fans. She didn’t come over to us, but there is a chance that I will appear on Mnet and the official SBS broadcast. I’m in the front row of the Soshi group waving my pink ‘heart shaped’ balloon XD

            

There were reports of some problems with the fans and such but I didn’t actually see anything sinister with my own eyes. All I saw was a lot of people moving their banners around and E.L.F shouting down at the Soshi fans while they made the banners go wonky. For the most part, people got on really well as far as I could see :)

I didn’t take many pictures of the performances because like everybody else [save the V.I.Ps] were pretty far away and my camera doesn’t do too well in the dark. Leah took more pictures than me and even some videos so I’ll send you that way once she’s posted them :)

I’m not sure how to finish off this post other than to say it was an incredible experience and I just want more. I wish I had taken my Nikon D50 and also that I was closer to the stage but I just can’t fault it at all. I was saying to Leah that before, I knew they existed because I saw them on TV shows, but now I know they exist because I saw them with my own eyes :D

I was going to leave this until later in the week but I got the urge so up they went. There’s plenty of room for expansion which is definitely something that I’ll doing in the future. Bring on the Wonder Girls album :D

I’ll start filling in the gaps at the bottom next but I decided to go for greater wall coverage this time round because I don’t know when I’ll next be getting some good ones :)

Finally all the posters have arrived and I put the last batch up this morning :) I assumed that the remaining ones would all be of a similar size but they were and as such I’ve had to just make do.

I’m really pleased with all of them actually and I think I’ll maybe try and get some more next month. I need to try and conserve my money for a new SLR camera and some clothes for Summer.

I also took this shot of the apartment building across the street from my window. I thought it looked quite cool with the sun settling behind it but I was slightly limited by my current digicam. I really think I want to be that person because I really like taking pictures and sharing them online and I always want to take better quality shots.

Look what I found at Home Plus this morning :D I went there to buy some wooden hangers for my shirts and jumpers but did my usual check of the small music section. They had done some stocking up over the weekend but there wasn’t that much there that I was interested in. I might have to go back and get the Baby Baby [Repackage] tomorrow though because it’s so beautifully cheap ^^

I’m hoping that my YesAsia order arrives today so that I can finally decorate the bedroom walls. That, and I want my ‘GREAT’ DVD really bad.

Just got home from work and managed to get a look at the new MV for 데자뷰. I love the song and the entire single actually so I was looking forward to seeing how the MV looked. When I started watching I couldn’t help thinking it was a boring setting and was a bit put off by the dancing in the confined space. I should really have waited to the end before I started writing this though because as I was opening my browser to post about it I was getting more and more into it.

I would like a version that doesn’t have so much extra MTV stuff on the screen but that’s not SS501’s fault. As for the MV I thought I wanted to see a different setting but off the top of my head I can’t think of a more fitting look for the song. Actually, as the song goes on I think the camera swinging and the light walls work really well. I was going to write that it wasn’t an MV you would put on because you thought the MV was worth watching and I still don’t, but I will be watching this a fair bit I suspect. I shall add this single to my list for Sunday *writes list*

[MBC Music Core - 2008.03.15] SS501 - 데자뷰 + 널 부르는 노래
I really like the new single by SS501 and will more than likely have to buy it if I see it in the shops but this performance wasn’t quite as good as I hoped.

This performance didn’t really deliver for me. None of the members really knew what was going on and the lip syncing seemed off by quite a bit. The ending was the best bit and I suspect once they get some more performances under their belts the routine will improve.

I wasn’t sure who was meant to be the band here, the boys or the girls. The girls were the only ones who seemed to know the choreography and the whole performance looked really awkward. Actually, I think ‘awkward’ is the best description for the entire show. Fingers crossed that the boys get more practice in and it’ll start coming together. Also, a comment I heard about the boys suffering after their time in Japan might well be true. Get back to the Korean dancing :P
